Project:
Conservation and display of the Carved Room at Petworth House.

Description: The conservation and historical re-arrangement of the contents of the Carved Room, including the reinstatement of carvings, chimneypieces and four Turner landscapes commissioned for the room, and installation of under-floor environmental controls.

Project: Restoration of the 1829 J C Bishop organ at St James Bermondsey, SE London.

Description: Restoration to full working order of a derelict 19th-century organ, a large and unique survival from a period of rapid change in musical tastes, through reconstruction in the style of the original organ-builder.

   
Hamilton Kerr Institute, Cambridge

Project: Conservation of the Thornham Parva Retable.

Description: Conservation of the 14th-century altarpiece and reinstallation in St Mary’s Church, Thornham Parva, in a specially-designed display case. A joint project between the parish of St Mary’s and Hamilton Kerr Institute.
   

English Heritage Conservation Studio

Project: Conservation of a vast history painting The Battle of Hastings by F W Wilkin.

Description: Conservation and display of a monumental history painting after 120 years of unsuitable storage and neglect, using both traditional and innovative methods and techniques. Now re-installed at its original location at Battle Abbey, Sussex.

   
Nimbus Conservation Ltd.

Project: Conservation of the Martyrs’ Memorial, Oxford.

Description: The cleaning and repair of the monument, including re-modelling on ceramic supports of three statues of the martyrs, conservation of decorative stonework and restoration of twelve heraldic shields. A joint project between the Oxford Preservation Trust and the City Council.
   
The Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester

Project: Off the wall: removing barriers to access. Improvements to the environment and accessibility of a historic wallpapers collection.

Description: Major improvements to the environment and accessibility of an historic wallpapers collection, resulting in the development of two innovative products, which introduced better protection and removed barriers to access.
   
Harrogate Museums and Arts, Harrogate Borough Council

Project: The Art of Conservation exhibition at the Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate.

Description: An exhibition displaying paintings, drawings and prints from the permanent collection in need of conservation work and explaining conservation processes in accessible language.
